Andy graduated from the Word of Life Bible Institute in 1995. He then attended Tennessee Temple University where he received a BS in Youth Ministries upon graduation in 1998. He joined the staff of Word of Life Clubs as an area missionary in 1997 and has been working with them since. 

Through this ministry he ran evangelistic events and worked closely with teens and leaders to help them further their walk with Christ. He also spent time as a youth leader at Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN and Trinity Baptist Church in Lake Wales, FL. He is married to Jen and has a daughter, Emily and another child due to arrive in August.
